But first, a Big Disclaimer: It is always a good idea to check with your healthcare provider before starting any exercise program, and this is particularly true when you are pregnant or newly postpartum. And now I'm talking to you just-gave-birth-the-other-day mamas: SLOW DOWN. I know you have great reasons for wanting to get back to working out, but YOU CAN CAUSE MORE HARM THAN GOOD by doing the wrong kind of exercises too soon. (Sorry to YELL, but it is only because I care.) Trust me on this one.
